★ About the Artist ★
Chloe Le has spent the last decade as an educator in the world of special education. As an artist getting back in touch with her roots, she is exploring how to elevate the surreal ideas and bright colors she learned to love from her time in the classroom in her illustrative work. Her art aims to make the unpleasant pleasant, and bring a playful sense of joy to strange and macabre concepts. Chloe hopes to inspire a juxtaposition of comfort and unease in her audience, her goal is to create imagery that rings to the good, the bad, and the ugly of life.
Chloe primarily enjoys drafting tattoo designs and creating painterly portraits or illustrations. She has a collegiate background in media production, including 2D animation, digital 3D & stop-motion animation, along with live-action film production and editing. She has a deep admiration for effects animation, and live-action practical effects.
Outside of the studio space, she has a love of animals and a tendency to foster those in need. You can find her working on projects at a cafe or park, or out in the wild with her troupe of 'sled dogs'.
